        The Woodlands Fire Department is a division of the Community Associations of The Woodlands, Texas. The Woodlands Fire Department responds to various situations, including fires, medical calls, hazardous material emergencies, swift water, high angle, trench and collapse rescue. It has a staff of full-time firefighters and emergency medical technicians who provide advanced life support services. The Woodlands Fire Department operates fire stations and maintains a fleet of rescue trucks and engines. Its stations are equipped with hydraulic tools that are needed to rescue the victims of motor vehicle accidents. It also maintains hazardous material response and technical rescue teams. The Woodlands Fire Department additionally provides fire safety education and emergency call answering services.

        hot july day & they were out there

        I've been so excited and impressed to see all the fire department support these past three week-ends collecting for Jerry's kids at the intersection of Research Forest and Gosling. It has been so hot but there they were holding out their boots. I am a patient with the MDA clinic and it is a great organization. The donations help me on my clinic visits but the money collected for research will impact the future of my two daughters and their children if they are ever diagnosed with MD or other neuromuscular diseases covered by the MDA association. Thanks so much for all these many years of collecting for MDA.

        Thanks also for all the work you do in our community in fighting fires and in medical emergencies. I have needed medical services three times in the past 3 1/2 years and have received excellent care from EMS and the fire department. Thanks for your fast response and professional care.
