        SmarTop Is Garbage



        I purchased the SmarTop hot tub cover manufactured by Leisure Concepts for $1,600.00. Four times the cost of a regular hot tub cover. The cover has had to be replaced three times and currently needs to be returned and replaced again. This top has warped four times now. The arms that hold the top on rusts very quickly. The top retains water and becomes so heavy it needs several people just to open it. See these reviews: whatsthebest-hottub.com/… I have asked that the top be returned for a full refund or the manufacturer warranty the top from the date of the 4th top being delivered. Both requests have been rejected. I guess the manufacturer will not warranty the top from the date of the 4th delivery because they know the top will fail again.
