Somerset Meadows

Somerset Meadows Apartments is a great place to live. I really enjoy the friendly atmosphere everyone make you feel at home. The manager is wonderful. He tries to fix all the issues that we may have. He really does care. The maintenance men are kind and when they come into your home (always after a notice :) ) they treat it with respect. They don't leave a huge mess when they are finished with the job. The owner is friendly as well; he always say hello and is really active in ensuring this place is decently run. I don't know about any bad experiences people had before but I love it here.

This place was a nightmare, and the lady Teresa who posted a good review above, she is part of the problem there. Her and her sister sit in the center of the buildings, and gossip about everything and everybody at the apartments, she has a litttle click of people, and when you come out of your place they stare, and are nosey, and watch what everybody does, yells at other peoples kids, and tries to control the whole property. Not to mention when I lived there they went through 4 managers, and 3 maintenance people, nothing was stable there, and people were having health issues because of the black mold problem, in all of the buildings, they always had sewage issues too, and I think I got h.pylori from living there. They said you get it from injesting bowels, and there was a time that the sewage line broke into the drinking water main. The owner does not just charge you one late fee, he keeps hacking on charges/day. The owner and managers there do not care about the people, and they do not want to put money into the property, unless they have to. Also, the pool was fake maintained, one time my mom came up out of the water with a gob of hair on her face, and she was grossed out, and never got in again, and also, there was a dead mouse in the drain area, and that was left in there for a long time before they took it out, but they kept the pool open. Teresa and her sister are also favored there, they get to have cats on property, and owe lots of money to owner, with no problems, and have a washer and dryer in unit, when nobody else can have one. Fleas were a problem, and high humidity in apartments, and on carpets.
