Salon Echelon is the place for cutting-edge hairstyles and color. After making an appointment with the owner, Marie, a Redken Specialist, you will already be excited about the possibilities of styling and color options for your appointment. I have been asked many times who "does" my hair and I've always been proud to tell them. I wear a red, violet color which I love. It compliments my skin tone and believe it takes years off my age. The color stays vibrant from one appointment to another. I would never have anyone else cut or color my hair.

This place is amazing clean, upscale, workers well-trained, and Marie is also heavily educated directly by the companies that provide the color. She also teaches at other salons on behalf of them. The color is great and lasted 8 weeks before I needed a touch-up. However, it was the cut Marie did that was unlike any I have ever had in my life. The way my hair hangs I don't have to even blow dry dry my hair because the cut took into account my hair's natural, but slight, curl. I bumped into people in Garden City and when I heard she lived out here, I recommended the salon and she said she already has been coming 15 years and loves it! She told me she is considering moving to Florida but she will be forced to fly back to get her hair cut! She said she had been to gazillion salons, even the super high-end ones in the Hamptons and never found anyone who could do her hair like Marie, so she is not going to go all over her Florida area looking-easier and cheaper in the long run to just fly up here. I agree totally.

I wrote a review a couple of years ago, and I’m logging back in to write another. After all this time, I am still a very satisfied customer! The team at Salon Echelon continues to be welcoming, kind and most of all professional. I look forward to my appointments, knowing that they will be a refreshing break from my busy schedule. I travel from work, and it takes me about an hour to get there, but it is worth all the effort. I intend to remain their customer for many years to come!!

After reading all of the reviews, I decided to give them a try. I left with same cut (just more uneven) and roots that I walked in with. The only difference was I was short $200 now. Waste of money!!! Never going back

I travel over an hour to get my hair cut and colored by Director Marie. I never once had my hair colored or highlighted and was recommended by one of her former assistants! Marie is sheer genius. I walk out of the salon feeling like a million dollars, and the compliments I receive.......I think the fact that I travel over an hour speaks for itself. You must try Salon Echelon and go in with an open mind. I highly recommend just letting yourself go and letting Marie guide you in what she thinks would suit you. She never ever lets me down. In fact I walk in there and just let her decide for me......thats how much I trust her. I never know what my hair is going to look like until that last snip......Fabulous! I ADORE Marie and the staff at Salon Echelon!

THIS SALON IS UPSCALE AND BEAUTIFUL!!! I found Salon Echelon using the yellow pages. I had a great experience so i figured i would write a review. From the time i walked into the salon until the time i left, I was very pleased. The girl at the front desk was professional and very nice. All the staff were very nice. Samantha is the girl who did my hair and I am so happy with the way my hair looks!! I really left the salon looking and feeling beautiful. I highly recommend this salon. This salon will always leave you satisfied. The salon is always beautifully decorated and more importantly clean. Marie the director knows how to cut hair and put on great color. I am constantly getting compliments on my hair. If you need to relax and pamper yourself this is the place to go. Enjoy facials in a quiet relaxing room that will you will never forget. Definitely try Salon Echelon if you haven't already.

I HAD ONE OF THE WORST EXPERIENCES OF MY LIFE AT THIS SALON. THE OWNER WAS RUDE AND NASTY AS WELL AS HER STAFF. I WENT IN TO HAVE MY HAIR DONE AND THEY SCREWED IT UP. THEY BURNT MY SCALP AND RUINED MY HAIR. WHEN I CALLED THEM TO TELL THEM THAT I HAD SORES ON MY SCALP THEY TOLD ME IT WAS MY PROBLEM.



THEY ARE WAY OVER PRICED AND REALLY HAVE NO KNOWLEDGE OF WHAT THEY ARE DOING. THE RECEPTIONIST IS SO RUDE AND UNPROFFESSIONAL. THIS SALON NEEDS TO GET THERE ACT TOGETHER. I ADVISE EVERYONE TO STAY AWAY FROM THIS SALON.

I was in need of a new stylist and made an appointment with Marie on the advice of a friend. When I started with her, I had the wrong cut, the wrong color, and damaged hair. Thanks to Marie’s expertise, she was able to correct all of that. My husband, family and friends all love my hair and I receive compliments all the time. Salon Echelon is immaculate, decorated beautifully and has a well thought out floor plan. The personnel are warm, welcoming and professional and I feel pampered from the moment that I walk in. My appointments are a welcome break from a way too busy schedule—a real oasis for me!!

Salon Echelon is heaven! Marie, the Director is fantastic! She really knows her stuff. What a professional atmosphere yet personal, warm, and inviting. All the attention is on you. What can I say...The salon is exceptional. The staff is attentive and professional. They treat me like a star. The salon is beautiful and immaculate. They listen to me. I love all the products they use. I even get these incredible facials there. I have recieved alot of compliments about my cut and color.I don't usaully write reviews but I just love this place...
