A Custom Refinish

They came to my home the exact time they said, and helped us choose our “colors” I was Awed! I said you are not just going to make my tub, and sink any color I choose, and make my cheap plastic glued on shower walls look like granite. They estimate was more than fair, and we were off. They explained they this job normally takes a couple days but they had to undo my work before they could really start so ti was going to be four days. But I spent way more time than at and it sucked. When they got here (on time again) they first masked off everything and I do mean everything, and he worked (Bathroom only big enough for one) with few short breaks and a ½ hour lunch,,,He worked his all off!

When it came to the time when he had to spray the different finishes and the top clear coat, well let me put it this way, it would be better if you went to the movies, because it is STRONG! Of course they told us this at the start. So we spent about a hour on one occasion outside waiting for the smell to dissipate. ( as bad as it is AND IT IS BAD the smell dissipates quickly) and when I held my breath just to peek inside the room as it was drying (Before the clear coat) Well I gasped which really sucked because I sucked in all that smell but well worth it just couldn’t believe my eyes, As good as new NO WAY IT WAS MUCH MUCH BETTER! I no longer had the basic ¾ bath converted into a 2 full bath, lather destroyed leaking tub, and a badly chipped sink, with a cheap Formica top now looks like we paid for a granite counter top, the walls of the shower as well, I even punched holed into the shelving areas of the glue on shower walls, because they were hollow, and I didn’t want them flexing and then cracking my new finish. So I got some “Great Stuff” expanding foam that is made just for filling in hard to reach cracks. So as I said before I popped a few holed in the shelving and filled up all the shelves and then the next day all I did is shave the foam off, and they did the rest.

So now they are working on a job they bid for two days labor was now into their fourth, with no extra cost to me, then when all was done and said We were just thrilled with the job they did.

About a week later we were noticing the draining on the tub getting slower and slwer, I used the plunger but it didn’t help. The wife told me to call them, but I was sure they were going to tell me to f off because anything could be clogging it, But NO they were as always very cheerful, and explained it will be a couple days before they could get here. Well he came over and I told him if he discovers a clog of my making I pay him his normal hourly rate, BUT if its his then free be, We snaked like there was no tomorrow but nope, he had to crawl under the house and cut the trap off but when he handed it up to me there was a piece of semi rubber, but HARD plastic that floated and then lodged in the drain, just enough to let a small amount of water then when the plunger went to work and it jammed it in good. But now it was off, and he glued it back on, we tested it, and we were finally able to use my hall Bathroom.



Would I hire them again Hell YES

Would I recommend them to a friend YES

Oh by the way when the others were estimating $20,000, his cost was under $2000.00



When it comes to upgrading our home, if Custom Refinisher does it, they will be doing it for me THANK YOU AGAIN FOR YOUR FINE WORK.
