Master planning is the first phase for many of the firm's projects. This process allows the firm to be sensitive to the natural topography which for them is vital to the success of a project. This initial design includes all hardscape and is then enhanced by an appointed landscape architectural firm. Mark P. Finlay Architects, AIA continues to collaborate with the landscape architect throughout the length of the project. Mark P. Finlay Architects, AIA has an interior design department in house which provides interior architectural design as part of their services. This includes but is not limited to all trim, casework, mouldings, built-in cabinetry, hard surfacing, built-in antiques and lighting design. While the firm does not provide furniture or fabrics, they will assist in the selection of an interior designer and will interface with them throughout the project.
