Dropped my mower off for repair on 5/5/2018 : BIG MISTAKE!! please anyone doing business here please Mark whatever you re taking in.. take a picture of it mark it in a special way that you will notice even take down serial numbers. I didn't I learned my lesson the hard way. 3 weeks later they returned to me the wrong machine and said it was mine and unless I can prove it wasn't. my mistake was not believing my gut instinct. I have receipt I purchased mower in 2012 but no serial number listed. I paid for repair and left,(Big Mistake also) When I got home. my daughter asked why I brought the wrong mower home. I called back next day and was told mistakes happen. they may have labeled my mower wrong, but now I have to prove the my mower is mine. what I was told by the employee . This BAD business.

Dropped off a Husqvarna chainsaw I bought at auction. Giving it to a buddy of mine. They completely tuned it up, and sharpened the blade for a very reasonable price. Replaced a few bad parts (put in baggie attached to saw). This thing totally purrs!



Bringing back 4 more pieces of STIHL equipment next week that I bought for them to look at before I put them up for sale.



As a local small business owner I always try to keep my business local (especially since I live 45 mins away!)

I'm delighted with this business!! For over nearly 30 years, I've purchased several pieces of lawn, garden and snow removal equipment from Southgate Bike and Mower. They are also my source for repair parts. In every case, they have been cordial and helpful. You can't go anywhere else and find more knowledgeable personnel, or get more expert service. They get my highest recommendation.

You may also remember that the "big-box" stores don't know their products, nor do they service them. They will sell you something, and from there on, you are on your own. But Southgate Bike and Mower is with you throughout the life of your purchase.

So frustrating!!!! Just picked up my bike and didn't notice until I got it home it has a huge flat tire!! Yes, I'm an idiot for not checking it at the shop before I left, but, you would think I wouldn't have to coming from a bike place!



$49.95 for a bike "tune-up" and they can't check the tires? And it wasn't a slow leak by any means....I just tried to fill it myself and its 100% blown out needs to be replaced wouldn't hold air. So disappointing they didn't do a thorough job.
