Horrible experience, 1st he couldn't find the cake and then he learned the decorator was putting finishing touches on it. I had ordered a Michigan cake Maize and Blue for my sons 16th Birthday and it came out as pastel blue and yellow. I said that I had the receipt saying it was Maize and Blue and he said that he has the same receipt and that he would have to mix the colors. I told him that I wanted it fixed and he was like no problem. We went back up picked up cake and the owner goes on to say you know there are different Michigan colors you can google them there are different blues and yellows. My husband thought that I was exaggerating about what an ass the man was. We're leaving and the owner asked the decorator if he wanted to say something to us and so I stopped and looked at him does he want to say something he said no. I told him thanks for the great customer service. I work in customer service if your having a bad day leave it at home don't take it out on your customers.

They do a wonderful job very friendly and very helpful been coming here over 2 yrs for all kinds of special cakes I needed thank you for beening Lisa Moore

Southgate Bakery did my moms 90th birthday cake and I loved it!!! I had a "Celebrate 90" theme for her party and they incorporated it into the cake decorations! They took the napkin and copied the image on the cake, added stars and curley ribbons...mom loved it too!!! I wish I could attach a pic of it so you could see what a great job they did! I had a chocolate and yellow layer cake with raspberry cream filling with buttercream frosting... cake tasted as good as it looked! I would definitely have them bake for me again!

This is a great little bakery. They're able to meet all your needs for weddings, graduations, etc. Their cakes are delicious. Their prices are very reasonable. When you go in, talk to Don. He'll guide you through everything you need to know in choosing the product that best suits your needs. I highly recommend this bakery.

Cake tasted great, a little disappointed on the size of the cake but overall excellent batter and frosting, Had many compliments on the taste, especially the chocolate
