Wallpapering
Latex paint is commonly in contact with the wet wallpaper paste for a day or more during the drying process. During this time the latex paint loses its integrity and softens into a rubbery film. This softening can destroy the surface and wreak havoc with the wallpaper installation because every good installation requires a sound, hard surface to hang on. Even worse, a very porous latex flat or matte can allow paste to travel all the way into the paper facing of the sheetrock making later wallpaper removal more difficult.

New Construction
I started painting over 35 years ago. I’ve learned all kinds of painting techniques over the years. Brushing, rolling, spraying, and faux finishes. I can patch and hang dry wall. I’ve repainted apartments, condos, residential houses, and I understand and have followed the many, many steps involved for painting new construction homes from the ground up, inside and out. And I’m very good at it. I’ve learned what the best brushes are, the best roller covers, all the tools associated with the trade. I have them tucked away neatly on the shelving in my reliable work van. I’ve passed this knowledge on to countless young men and women who came to work with me over the years. Whether they were brand new or had some basic skills they all improved their skills working with me.

Window Installation/Replacement
So we can just paint the walls or we can just paint the ceilings or both. We can paint doors and windows or just the casings and baseboards. We can paint a little at a time or we can paint the whole house at once. Occupied or vacant it doesn’t matter to us. There are many other reasons to paint the interior of your home such as wall damage caused by leaking water or because there is ugly wallpaper or paneling or a large wall mirror to remove.
