Hertz

I was sent to Hertz while my car was being repaired from an accident. Made my reservation a week in advance. Hertz rep said they would come to auto shop to pick me up. They didn't. No biggie, auto body shop took me to Hertz. Was not given any choice of vehicle. I drive a SUV, they gave me a tiny Mazda 3. Again, no biggie- if the car seat would fit, I thought might be fun a few days (it wasn't). The gas light was on empty, had to go immediately to gas station. The car smelled badly like old food. Of course it did, there was food all over the car- wrappers, french fries and crumbs on the floor board, etc. My daughter even called it the "stinky car" as the smell did not go away. Toughed it out for a week and a half. Two weeks after return, I get a threatening voicemail, that I am late returning the vehicle. Several calls to try to resolve and finally got it settled Hopefully all the charges on my card will be removed too
