        Shannon is a certified physician assistant. She received a masters in biological sciences (immunology focused) from Clemson University in 2006 and subsequently worked in genetic research. Prior to practicing dermatology in Virginia, she practiced in North Carolina. Shannon enjoys working with patients, from pediatrics to geriatrics, in prevention and education of their conditions. She has experience in general dermatology and is skilled in treating various diagnoses, such as eczema, psoriasis, acne, and precancerous and cancerous lesions.I treat my patients like family; its hard to go wrong with that.         Shannon was very friendly and helpful and I think the staff is very helpful

        I came in and the staff were very welcoming. When i met with PA Craven she was very clear about my concerns and was quite personable.

        So excited to have her here!!!

        So far 2 of my 4 member family have seen Shannon. Such a relief to have someone so down to earth and informative as she is. Not to mention, both skin problems were cured without needing follow-ups. She is the best!!!

        Today's visit with Shannon was a very positive visit and all my questions were addressed.

        Shannon took all the time that I needed for a thorough skin check for my yearly examination. She answered a few questions I had and removed a couple precancerous spots on my face. Very pleased with my visit.
