This job started with a stump removal. Jay Gomez then presented an incredible idea for my backyard. The job was completed and his crew of workers were very professional and they did excellent work. The attention to details were outstanding and i strongly recommend his work to anyone! We will be enjoying the backyard OAISIS for many years to come! Thanks again Jay!!!

I e-mailed in mid-storm hoping to get a tree removed before it fell and caused major damage and within 5 minutes of my email I got a call to schedule a time to check out the tree and provide a quote. Within 20 minutes of the call the owner, Jay, stopped by to check on my emergency. By 3:00pm the same day the tree was gone, no mess on site, and Jay and crew were beyond professional and friendly. Most importantly, the price did not break my pocket! Would definitely recommend to others and obtain additional services.

They just competed a job for me in downtown Boston (6/2015). Reasonably price for pruning and cutting a large trunk down to base. Also cut into firewood for me. I would highly recommend. The pruning and reshaping of a birch tree was well done.

We recently had three trees taken down and removed from our property in Arlington by Masterpiece Construction. This entailed the removal of a massive, diseased tree that was not only close to our house, but had some equally massive branches that posed a threat to neighboring homes as well. Jay and his crew did an impressive job with the removal - hauling away the debris - grinding all the stumps - and the cleanup. Everyone was friendly and professional. As with most jobs of this scale there were some surprises. We were pleased with how his strong work ethic and good communication skills guided us through the unexpected.

Last fall I discovered I needed to have two ancient oaks felled because they

were threatening an 80 foot stone wall that went from 7-15 ft high. Masterpiece was the only company who returned my call with 24 hours, and appeared for a site visit within 2 days. Jay quoted a fair estimate and within 5 days the two trees were down, and turned into beautiful firewood. The expertise of the crew's performance was like watching a high wire dance in the trees! Not only were they efficient, the site was neat at the end of the day. On the whole their professional manner was pleasant and accommodating, a quality to be searched for nowadays. The 3 cords these two trees generated had to be split 12 feet down on the ground, then tossed up atop the wall and then stacked. The following day all wood was stacked in 6 neat piles; all ready for many years of fireplace use. The biggest smile was when I saw the size of the logs – they were cut into fireplace size pieces, not just left needing to be cut down again; they didn't forget that I'm a woman and can't haul heavy wood loads. We had been looking for someone to cut 2 of our trees for a while. We got some insane quotes over the past months. Finally we ran across Jay by search engine. He came out the same day for estimate. And he was so professional and pleasant. There was no question we wanted him for the job. But now it was a matter of can he really do the job? This was a tree over 100 years old. The trunk was as thick as three people and well let's just say incredible tall. He and his crew were so incredible. They made the job look easy. And this was 1000s of pounds of wood. They cleared the tree, cleaned our yard and the neighbors of all leaves (were plenty before they even got there). His rate was extremely fair for all that he and his team had to do. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone, anywhere, with whatever tree issues you have.

Jay was wonderful and totally professional. We shopped around and found that his pricing was the best. He was clear on what he was going to do.He explained the process step by step.We first hired him to come out and do some tree cut backs at our rental. We were so impressed with his work that we hired him back to do some pruning at our home. They cleaned up and disposed of all the limbs. If I could give him 10 stars I would. It all started with my neighbor knocking on the door telling me that a big branch from my tree fell into their yard. So I had to take care of it, except for one “little” problem – the tree itself had to go, and that tree was huge to say the least, with very hard access to it, covering the area of three surrounding yards. I knew the time has come to do something about it. And the first time in my life I was fortunate to find the best service ever provided to me by Masterpiece Tree Services: extremely reliable, responsible, and true to their words. They brought peace of mind not only to me but to my neighbors as well.

Jay Gomez @ Masterpiece was helpful, motivated, and did an awesome job. We had a "BIG" maple (over 70 feet, about 40" in diameter at the base) between our house and our neighbor - about 10 feet from the side of our place.



Honestly, I really wondered HOW you take down such a big tree SO close to two homes - Jay is like a surgeon with a chainsaw. He and his guys worked safely and quickly to remove the tree - and they were all very respectful & polite as well.



I would recommend Masterpiece any day.

I called this company up during the last hurricane and they came out right away. They arrived in a high stressful time in great sprits and cleaned up the fallen tree and other trees that were in danger of falling. I felt comfortable leaving on my property, they had great personality's and were fun and energetic. I recommend this company to friends and family. Also great $$$$
