OK. I can't rate Harvest Kitchen And Lounge yet, but I'm hoping to get a reservation for Mother's Day tomorrow, then I can write something about it. The one review I did read sounded like it was written by the owner. Most people don't describe just about every item on the menu in glowing terms if they've eaten somewhere. They "talk" about the food they ordered. Just wanted to point that out. If I get a reservation and eat there, I'll try to get back to the yp reviews and hope I can be as excited as the first "reviewer."

If you live in or around Solon, you know there is not too much to choose from when it comes to really great restaurants. As of last month that has changed! Harvest Kitchen & Lounge has opened up its doors, and also opened up your senses, mostly taste and smell. The design of the interior is very easy on the eyes, just plain sexy, slightly industrial with warm lighting and plenty of space between tables, you will not feel cramped. They play soft mellow acoustic music to set a casual tone, but you can't help but feel the blue jeans and button ups everyone is wearing should be $1000 suits, but relax the jeans are perfect here. Once you get a glance at the wine list, drink menu & craft beer list you know you are somewhere special, not your ordinary place to dine. Start off with a Cucumber Rosemary Martini, or a St. Germain's Cocktail. They have around 40 craft beers by the bottle as well as 4 draft choices, don't expect to order a Bud Light...they don't even carry the fizzy yellow tasteless stuff. As far as the edible fare, well let's just say to prepare for an event, maybe start off with Pat LaFrieda's Roasted Marrow Bones, or amazing Big Eye Tuna Sashimi from the Honolulu Fish Co. The "Harvest" Salad is to die for as well as the Heirloom Beet Salad. As far as Entree's everyone's taste is sure to be met, from Park Farms Roasted Chicken to an amazing Black Pepper & Basil Fettuccine Carbonara, or Pan Roasted Arctic Char to a Certified Angus Beef Ribeye that simply melts in your mouth. The only thing you will have to make sure to do is save room for dessert, with the Chef's famous White Chocolate & Dried Cherry Bread Pudding, or his Mother's Homemade Cheesecake! The best I've ever had, & I've had a LOT!!! I know around 50 people who have been here so far, and every one of them can't stop talking about it! We have made reservations for the next 3 consecutive weeks! That is saying something coming from me! Open up all of your senses, or get to your senses and get into Harvest!
