Cheap, inexperienced hair salon. In two words "chop shop". The reason I am upset is because, they advertise in a local brochure a very attractive female with a gorgeous hair style. Think Kim Kardashian. This picture got me to go to this salon. Upon entering, I was already disappointed. The salon looks like it is stuck in the 80's. Very unattractive atmosphere. Anyhow, I am greeted by the lady who is going to do my hair with "so you made it!?" I should have left then, but I didn't. To make a long story short, I'm led to the back where the sinks are to get my hair washed and I see a table with three chairs with the employees left over lunch sitting there. Major turn-off. Then the lady who washed my hair didn't bother to lather the lower half of my head towards my nape. Okay, the worst is yet to come. I asked to have 4 inches cut off and the stylist gets scissor crazy and decides to chop off double that. I ask for a layer cut and I recieve a plain unflattering cut. By this time I am in tears. I came in with gorgeous long hair and left looking like I got a cut out of a 1985 magazine! As much as I am upset at the stylist who chopped my hair, I am more mad at myself for ignoring the signs that this is probably not a good salon. I would not reccomend anyone to go here, unless you are a senior citizen. The salon looks like it is stuck in the 80's. Very unattractive atmosphere. Biggest mistake of my hair cutting experience. I will never go back. By thge way, she charged me $5 extra for the cut because she claimed my hair was too thick!!! I hate my hair cut :(
