I was so impressed by Nick Dean of DJ Kamayo Entertainment. He went above and beyond for our wedding at Calamigos Ranch in the Redwood Room and we received so many compliments on him from our guests and family. We had the photo booth , ceremony music , dinner music, and dancing music and Nick had the dance floor packed. I cannot recommend him enough! He was the ultimate DJ for us, so happy he djed our wedding!

What a phenomenal experience - Ryan Ramsey was absolutely the best for us. Professional, attentive, fantastic MC, all wrapped up in some of the best music mixed so well! So many of my guests commented that the music was perfect. Guests danced for 4 straight hours - all of the guests, all ages, all night. Thanks Ryan for everything.

DJ Kamayo is AWESOME. There's nothing cheesy about this wedding DJ (my biggest fear) and his website was awesome to use for the event. Every song was played at just the right time and my guests walked away saying the music was perfect! Everyone was dancing and having the best time.

One of my favorite moments from Kamayo was right before he announced us in for dinner and the first dance, he got our guests cheering for us and they continued to cheer through our whole dance routine. It was so encouraging and really made us feel loved.

We used DJ Nick Dean from DJ Kamayo Entertainment. We couldn't have been more satisfied with him. He was simply amazing. He helped us select songs and the wedding music outline file he provided really helped us organize our music playlist. The whole process was painless and so easy thanks to Nick. Everyone was done the way we wanted it and we're so grateful he djed our wedding in San Diego. Our friends and family loved him and so did we!!!!!

Everyone at our wedding remarked as to how wonderful DJ KAMAYO was. He came over to our sweetheart table to let us know where we were in the night every so often so that we were always prepared for the next event (father-daughter dance, cake cutting, last dance, etc.). He is very professional and met with us twice to make sure we had all of the details finalized. He was well worth the money! Music can make or break your wedding party, and he definitely "made" the wedding reception. He is a really nice, good humored person, who is upbeat, positive, and always smiling. We knew we made the right choice the minute we met with him the first time. We signed the contract right then and there. We wanted a very classy wedding, and he delivered it perfectly. I cannot say enough good things.

We always thought selecting a wedding DJ is difficult since it's hard to sample the quality ahead of time. With some referrals and perfect reviews from WeddingWire, we decided to go with DJ KAMAYO. As anyone who goes through the planning process for the first time, we were anxious about every detail. Kamayo's laid back demeanor initially made us question whether he's on top of things. Well, he was and even provided some last minute solutions that were crucial to the ceremony & wedding.

We wanted a 90's hip hop music theme and he delivered by building a classic hip hop playlist based on songs we suggested. The crowd went wild a few times because the music was "on the money." He was even able to play a few requests at seconds notice because of impromptu speeches.

He was professional, easy to work with, and very dependable. We'd recommend him to anyone who is looking for a wedding DJ in Los Angeles.

DJ Nick Dean was AMAZING!!!!!! We had our wedding at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu.

Throughout the wedding day Nick checked in with us throughout the evening to adjust toast and cake cutting timing as well as other announcements that needed to be made. The music was everything we wanted and more! Everybody was raving about his professionalism, mixing ability, and overall quality of service. With 150+ guests he adjusted volume during cocktail hour and then increased the volume for our dance party! One quote from my mom the Mother of the Bride was "WOW, your DJ keeps mixing in great songs before the other ends and I just can't get off the dance floor!" Pretty much sums up our night :)

Juan (DJ Kryptonite) was our DJ . He was so easy to work with! He has a contagious laugh/smile and is an incredible DJ! My Malibu wedding was at Calamigos Ranch in the Pavillion. Juan arrived early and had everything set up and ready to go so guests could enjoy music as they arrived and were seated. My husband and I picked a a handful of songs that we really wanted played (for our first dance, garter toss/bouquet toss, etc.) and Juan came up with the rest. I loved every song he played. He learned enough about my husband and I to get a real feel for our music tastes and PERFECTED it! He's like a human Pandora app. We had multiple people comments on how many great songs were played! The music he chose kept everyone dancing for the entire night! Honestly, my wedding would have had several hiccups if it weren't for Juan. He made sure that everything was done according to schedule.

DJ Kamayo (Omid) came highly recommended from our photographer and we couldn't have asked for a better DJ. Kamayo was our first contact and was very prompt in responding to our initial inquiry with the available package options. He got us set up right away along with a template and loads of music so we could start our music list. He made the music selection process so easy for us. We met with Kamayo in person a few weeks before the event to go over everything and knew immediately that we had made the right choice. He was very friendly and offered a lot of suggestions on song choices, schedule of events, etc. Kamayo interacted well with our guests and got everyone up out of their seats to dance. The music selection was perfect and he helped to keep the night flowing smoothly.

I absolutely recommend DJ Kamayo Entertainment for your wedding. Kamayo was the DJ for my wedding in San Diego, and he was amazing! He was incredibly great throughout the entire process. My husband and I have been to too many weddings where the DJs just didn't interest us - and we love to dance! Kamayo played all the songs on our must play list and kept us dancing throughout the evening. Everything was perfect and I couldn't be happier.



We also used their super affordable photo booth, which of course we and everyone else loved.

Kamayo did an absolutely fantastic job at our wedding at Pechanga in Temecula-- the music was so fabulous, and my favorite part was seeing guests of all ages rocking it on the dance floor. We got so many compliments from people on the awesome DJ (A friend of mine who says her husband never dances, told me she was blown away that he was out on the dance floor all night!). In addition to being an amazing DJ, the best part about Kamayo is that he is such a professional--so on top of things, from the beginning to the end, and he really took the time to meet with us and get to know our musical tastes. We couldn't have been happier with our decision to hire him! He made everything so easy for us.

Omid (DJ Kamayo) DJ'ed our wedding and did an AMAZING job. We were super particular about the music that was going to be played, and he completely got the vibe we were going for. I can't count how many people came up to me during the wedding and said "I can't believe your DJ is playing this song, it's amazing!" People were on the dance floor all night, and every song he played was awesome. He did a fantastic job of incorporating all the music we wanted and also playing music that both younger and older people would enjoy. Omid also MC'd the wedding beautifully. There was no "cheesy wedding DJ" vibe at all. He made sure that everything ran smoothly without him having to be on the microphone a lot. He kept the talking to a minimum which is what we wanted.

DJ Kamayo was phenomenal! He did everything we asked for at our wedding. I had to plan from out of town so it was a bit more difficult but I am so glad we decided to have Kamayo a part of our big day.

He met with us when we came into town and treated us to drinks. He was also available to talk over a phone call.

We wanted our DJ to be entertaining, play games and play good music. It was so difficult to find a DJ for this match but Kamayo really owned up to it!!!

We hired Kamayo for our wedding and he was fantastic. My fiancee and I knew we wanted a good DJ for our wedding. I started looking early, calling and emailing several santa barbara area DJ's. Kamayo and I hit it off right away. He is very prompt and succinct in answering questions, returning emails and phone calls. He is very professional. Unlike some of the other DJ's I contacted, he was not pushy in getting us to sign a contract, or include any extras. He was totally focused on working with us to give us exactly what we want, within our budget.

So AMAZING, so FUN, and so PROFESSIONAL! DJ Kamayo was the perfect DJ for our wedding in San Diego.

He keeps the music going with exactly what the crowd is feeling and our own requests. There was never a dull or boring moment at our wedding.



We never felt nervous either. He made sure we were relaxed the whole time as well.



Our friends and family absolutely loved DJ Kamayo and everyone asked for his card at the end. We couldn't be more satisfied with him.

Seriously an awesome dj and all around great guy. He was outstanding at our wedding. Cant wait for him to dj another party for us!

DJ Kamayo is an extremely talented, high energy, interactive dj. He was just tremendous at my wedding. Had a great flow and everyone loved him.
