Doesn't work with military

Don't go to The Wrench if you don't want work done on your vehicle for a long time, and you don't want the shop telling you repeatedly that they will start working on it tomorrow or tonight even though that's not true. I'm military, and expect to deploy very soon, and i needed work done to my vehicle so it would drive again BEFORE i left. So i told them i have max a month for them to do it, and the work required takes at least a week to do. It's been over 3 weeks, my time table given to them is almost up, and I'm sitting here writing this because they still haven't even STARTED. It's still sitting right where I left it when I dropped it off with nothing done to it. They have told me many times "oh, it'll be in the shop tonight" or "we'll have it end by the end of the week" or "we're starting it tomorrow" and even "we'll start it monday". I'm sick of the excuses. This shop clearly doesn't care for the military and their demanding schedules or leaving the states to serve their country. So if you're military, and you need work done BEFORE YOU LEAVE ON DEPLOYMENT, go somewhere else, or it won't get done. I have to pay out of pocket to tow my vehicle to another shop AFTER I've already paid out of pocket to have my vehicle towed 17 miles here in the first place. I called a couple local shops that have excessively better reviews than this place, and they were absolutely astonished at how "The Wrench" did me. My vehicle is going to Bucky's, a shop that has (as of writing this) 23 reviews, all of them 5 stars. I'm done with The Wrench and all their affiliations.

Won't take our vehicles anywhere else

We have been doing business with West Sound for 15+ years. They have always been honest, courteous, and provided excellent service. They are the only people we trust to work on our vehicles.

Man on a mission

The guys that has written the 3 comments below is MONEY HUNGRY!! He gives mis-information to better his own cause. West Sound has always been good to me and my family, has done right by us for over 9 years. Doug and the guys there are excellent to work with and know what they are doing. The man who wrote all three comments is lookking to make a quick buck and take down a good bussiness, shame on him!!! People like that give small bussiness a bad name and he gives mankind an even worse name, Take it from me, you CAN trust West Sound, try it for yourself, don't listen to stupidity and greed!!

Unethical

West Sound Automotive is unethical. In my experience, they don't stand behind their work. There is no "Warranty" on their billing. The owner was not negotiable. I never went back after that, and I recommend you stay away from West Sound Automotive. I'm only trying to save you headaches and money that aren't necessary. Don't go by what the BBB has to say. The BBB gets paid plenty by companies to say they are accredited. Don't go to West Sound Automotive and expect to leave a "Happy Camper". Find a reputable auto repair such as L

Never Going Back

West Sound Automotive is a shameful automotive shop. They also misdiagnosed my transmission leak. To fix my red pool of transmission fluid in my driveway, the worked on the Power Steering fluid (which is clear). They didn't fix the problem. I was charged of course. I'll never go back. Any mechanic knows the difference between transmission fluid and power steering fluid (except West Soud Automotive). Don't go thereWest Sound Automotive has just recently moved to Randall Way in Silverdale. They used to be on Frontier Rd. in Silverdale.

You Are Taking A Risk

I agree with the person with their truck. Don't go there.Ive had my autos serviced there also. I wasn't impressed. The man at the counter didn't listen to my car problem I was expressing. The bill was higher than anticipated, and the repair was shoddy. They were happy to take my money though. Find somehwere else to go. That's my advise.

Did what Toyota couldn't

We've had our cars worked on at West Sound a few times, and have always had good results and courteous service. In fact, the brakes on our Toyota squeaked, and so we had Toyota work on them, and they still squeaked, so we had West Sound work on them next time and they've been fine ever since.

Don't Go To West Sound Automotive

Beware of West Sound Automotive.I took my truck to West Sound Automotive to have a transmission leak fixed. I took it there 5 times and it was worked on 4 times. West Sound Automotive misdiagnosed the leak but I was charged each time. I tried to work it out with the owner, but he was non-negotiable. I had to have the transmission rebuilt due to their "improper" work as the judge put it. I was awarded over $3,700.00. I have yet to receive the judgement. They still have a couple of days to pay before further action will be taken (May 3, 2009).It would seem West Sound Automotive would accept responsibility and honor the judgement.West Sound Automotive is quick to take your money, but slow to pay for damages. My recommendation: Find a reputable mechanic that will warranty their work and honor their reputation.
