Medtech Institute - Silver Spring

I received fabulous support from Medtech beginning on day one. They helped me at every step of the way, starting with financial aid, then extra tutoring when I needed it, and finally an amazing externship at a big hospital in D.C. The best of all: that same hospital hired me and I'm now a full-time medical assistant earning $24/hr with benefits!! Of course, it's what you make it, and you have to put in the hard work and be professional. But I couldn't be happier with my experience.

Nothing but lies, empty promises, and attitude.I've been at this school since April, I enrolled with the understanding that we'd be provided with tutoring, placement for externship, and convenience for students. Now we're told we have to call medical facilities in our area to find externship placements, but they have to be contracted by the school. Yet the school administrators won't provide a list of their contracted sites. We were also told we would have convenient study groups, but when our teacher set up tutoring on a weeknight, we were forced to leave., DONT GO TO THIS SCHOOL, RIPOFF AND LIES!!

Am giving them a star only because am required to arte them but they dont deserve s@&$. I am truly dissapointed I ever choose This school to waste my time And $16k on. Nothing of what they advertiste is true And trust me that You dont learn what You need to know for going in as a medical assistant in such a competitive profesion. The teacers are lazy only like 2 that Really teach And take You seriously other then that the others are only there to sit at a desk And make the class a joke. Please I beg dont go here because when it comes to finding a Job "Career service" doesnt move a finger to help all they care about is what benifits them, And getting a Job is hard because no body wants unexperianced people And thats what we basicly are after "graduating" Out of This school.
