Forcey Bible Church

I've been attending Forcey for about 24 years now with my wife. There is no perfect church because most are made up of imperfect people like me but, Forcey Bible is a good church for many reasons. It is a family church, my mom and dad started attending Forcey when they retired in 1978 and both served faithfully until their passing. We started attending after we moved to Beltsville in 1990. Forcey offers a ministry for every age group and has a very multicultural congregation. One of my favorite parts of the ministry now at Forcey is the new worship leader, Jonathan Ford, who really knows now to get the best out of the choir, orchestra, and congregation. Pastor Phil Powers always gives a well prepared and easy to follow message and there are many local home groups and Bible study groups to join, boys and girls clubs with great leadership, and a plethora of other ministries for every age group from MOP's, Mothers of Pre-Schoolers, to a great Teen ministry under Pastor Mike Maslin, at least 3 young adult fellowship classes, a Men's and Women's ministries and Bible studies, and Senior Adult Ministry. I cannot highly recommend Forcey Elementary and Middle School enough. Both our two children attend both schools and tested to enter the Eleanor Roosevelt HS Science and Tech program and passed with flying colors. The both went on to continue their higher education at Grove City College which also has very high standards to gain admission and they are now gainfully employed. You cannot get a better education bang for the buck than at the Forcey schools and Grove City College, I can almost guarantee that to you. So, at least give Forcey a shot if you are new in the area or are looking for a good church to grow in the Word and to exercise your Spiritual gifts.
