The servers are just wonderful people. The food is great and if you go home hungry it’s your fault. The only problem is they are always busy but it’s sure worth the wait.#highly recommended

This is my favorite restaurant of all time! I live in southern Illinois, about 65 miles away from the Lambert's in Sikeston, MO, and even if I lived 150 miles away, it would still be worth the drive! I love "down home cooking", but if you don't, then this might not be the place for you. But I love that they bring around more food (for free) and keep on bringing it. And, of course, the best part is the "throwed rolls"!! I always make the thrower go way back to throw it to me...it's more fun that way! haha Whenever friends or family from northern Illinois visit, they want to go there, as we introduced them to Lambert's many years ago. This place IS worth it! It's yummy, it's fun, and they have a gift shop too, for those of you that like to shop and buy souvenirs. Just a warning though...it's been years since I've been there, but every time I went in the summer time, there was a LONG wait that wrapped around the building. And it can be VERY hot and humid in SE MO it summer. Luckily, right now it's January, and I'm going for my birthday in a few days, so hopefully there won't be a long line. But I definitely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for good food (lots of it!) and a good time!

The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because of the almost 3 hour wait. The food was delicious and I was stuffed when I left.

I love Lamberts. Th real joy was that the food was pass to you for a great price. Not only this but you caught the bread that was thrown to you from the air. I give it a 3 thumbs up.

Excellent food, great variety, so much food you'll never be able to eat it all, especially if you try the 'pass arounds', which means extra sides that they bring around and dish out if you want to try them............3 different ones + the 3 sides that come with your meal, hush puppy, and all the 'tossed rolls' you can catch and eat! Very nice restaurant, not fancy, comfortable! Gift shop and take home some rolls when you leave!

We first visited Lamberts for the "Throwed Rolls". We have come back over the years for the good food and the FUN. We are headed back again in the next few days. It will mean a trip of 350 miles - going about 150 miles each way out of the way. We think it's worth every mile with 4 teen and pre-teen girls!

Ohhh how my family and I love this place. The atmosphere is so much fun, and you can not leave without a smile on your face. The service is wonderful and very friendly. Everyone should go here at least one time, but you will want to go back if you go once...trust me. Oh and the food is wonderful!
