All this practice cares about is money…..you’re money in their pocket.
I had been going here for several years. I had broken a crown that was placed many years ago by another dentist, so I went back to that original dentist to have it fixed. Rhonda, the office manager for Dr, Hardy, finds out and starts yelling at me and talking down to me in a very demeaning way. Are you kidding me? This two-faced old woman puts on a façade of being all caring, but she obviously cares nothing about the clientele.
It’s hard to find a decent dental practice. This isn’t one of those decent ones. Look elsewhere!
We rarely have negative reviews. The couple that we have received, we have chosen to ignore. However, we feel response is warranted in this case: The patient went to Mexico to have his crown done, and then came back to our office to ask for an x-ray of that tooth. He did not want to tell us 1) that he went to Mexico and 2) why he needed an x-ray. Patients are free to go wherever they like - we live in the United States of America! But when a patient jumps from dentist to dentist to have various things done, it puts dentists in a compromised position in being responsible for work done elsewhere. Additionally, Mexico does not have the same standard of care that is required in the USA: they do not have the same strict licensure, our very strict and deliberate sterilization and sanitation methods, malpractice requirement, board requirements, continuing ed requirements, radiation requirements, etc, etc. There may be some dentists in Mexico who are ok. The problem arises when a patient gets a major infection, has a disaster, and there is no recourse. The dentist who the patient jumps back to in the US then is left with treating a mess. I can tell you this: There was no yelling; There was no talking down; There were a couple of questions: Tom, did you go to Mexico? Why did you not get an x-ray from the dentist in Mexico when he took one? We were happy to release Toms records to him so that he has the freedom to go wherever he likes. When we received this negative review, and with the couple of others, we find it interesting to see all reviews posted by the same people. We have found that most of the time, they are having the same problems no matter where they go and/or post. Rhonda
