        My wife's ford taurus was running rough and the check engine light was coming on. I dropped the car off at Southern Automotive and they said that to do diagnostic that it was going to be more than usual due to amount of work needing to be done to figure out issue. By the end I had a bill for over $700 to put new spark plugs, replace ignition coil and replace some plastic part under car that hooks up to engine. Long story short the car ran good for a week but then the car wouldn't start so I called a Mobile mechanic out to fix because I didn't want to tow to Southern Automotive. The issue was that the car was put back together wrong and the plastic part wasn't installed properly. A Mobile mechanic fixed the car in about 3 hours and I had to pay him $200. I was also told by the mobile mechanic that Southern Automotive charged me double the cost it should have been to fix car. Stay far, far away they will over charge you for crappy work.
