Proline Roofing & Chimney

This company sent a guy to do an estimate named "Bob", and we accepted his quote to fix the flat roof and ridge caps, and I paid him in cash. He gave me his verbal guarantee that if anything happened in the next "2 years" to call him. First good rain and the leak was so bad that I have a rip in my ceiling. I contacted the owner Dan from Shirley and he sent guys to look at it and said that the work was never done in the first place!!! They also said that the price we paid would not near cover the costs to fix my room. Both ownners, Tony and Dan, said "BOB" is no longer their employee and they are not willing to fix the roof because it wasn't warranteed. They also accused "BOB" of stealing receipts and pocketing the money. Pretty strange that he also had keys to their van and 2 workers with him?? Regardless, I have a receipt and the work was not done. They have excuse after excuse and refuse to even give me a refund for work that was not done. Tony even said on the phone with me that if "bob" shot someone, should he be responsible?? ARE YOU KIDDING ME????? It is called being a business owner, and backing up your work.
