So nice to deal with real people after getting the run around from online companies. Amanda was friendly and helpful and set us up with the Portable Oxygen Generator we needed to rent. Glad we found this business close to home.

The Sherman Oaks Medical Supplies on Van Nuys Blvd were wonderful to us. Got us in and out quickly so we could beat traffic when picking up a wheelchair rental. Then when returning it, they opened up early so we could get to our flight at LAX on time. Thank you for great service.

I have been a customer of Sherman Oaks Medical Supplies for several years now, but I am finally reviewing because I finally signed up for Yelp recently! I had a Quickie manual wheelchair which I was using for approximately 15 years and it was falling apart. I first went in to Sherman Oaks Medical Supplies, because I could not find any other medical supply store that actually did servicing on wheelchairs right there in store. That alone would be worth the five stars! But wait, there is more...! I was truly blown away by their level of professionalism and just how plain nice they are! No matter what the situation or need was for me, their response is generally, "Not a problem."! So, the very first time I came in, I needed to have a few adjustments and repairs on my wheelchair. When they realized that I hadn't had a new wheelchair in 15 years, they immediately started the paperwork to get me a new wheelchair. And, believe you me, they weren't trying to upsell me or anything like that. They wanted to know what chair was best for me and what chair I wanted. They didn't even charge me for any of the adjustments and repairs that day, knowing that my new chair would just be a couple of months away. Like I said before, I was really blown away by this. It takes customer service to a whole new level over there. They proceeded to do all of the research and paperwork and filing with Medi-Cal/Medicare and the insurance. And then, after just two short months, my brand-new Quickie wheelchair arrived! And if that wasn't enough, there is still more to the story...! When I came in to pick up my wheelchair, they took all the time that was needed to make sure that everything was fit and adjusted just for me. There wasn't a lot to adjust, because they had measured me very intricately before we ordered the chair. A couple of weeks later, I was having a problem with the manufacturer's back rest. Once again, they took the time and care to figure out what was wrong with the back rest and they had it replaced at no expense to me. I would definitely recommend Sherman Oaks Medical Supplies to anybody who is looking for a manual wheelchair or a power wheelchair or a scooter or any other medical supplies for that matter. They have a huge inventory and showroom right there in the store. And like I said before, their customer service is aces and the staff is so friendly that it is crazy! 5 stars without a doubt!!

As a person in a wheelchair, I've needed different pieces of equipment over the years. I recently needed a new cushion and like many times before, I went straight to Sherman Oaks Medical Supply. As always, they took care of me immediately. They ordered my cushion and in the process noticed I was also in serious need of tires - they took care of that as well. Everything was done in one sitting. They have a large inventory and the staff is genuine in their concern. I've come to know this as their everyday approach to business. I would recommend them to anyone.

This was by far the BEST medical supply shop I have been to. This company is full of nice, loving, & caring workers who invest in the safety and comfort of the customer rather than the business. My sister needed a power chair because she had broken her leg and the doctor said that it will take it a long time for her to fully recover. She needed the chair so she can get back to work. Jack and his wonderful employees took their time to get medical and medicare to approve and pay for the power chair. Unfortunately, other companies I went to were not able to get this done. Jack helped us find the perfect chair for my sister; one that can be easily stored in the car during transportation, and can last long. He knows the stuff very well! God forbid anyone needs supplies, but if you do, I recommend you come here! They literally have everything! Starting from grab bars, commodes, shower chairs, compression stockings, all the way to hospital beds and mattresses and everything else. They also do repairs, and give out rentals. The system they have running is just amazing. I loved this place. ANY medical equipment I need in the future, I know for sure I will come here! Great customer service! And it is very rare to see people working for the satisfaction, comfort, joy, and most importantly, the safety of the customer. Others are usually just there to make the money, they do not care about customers opinions, thoughts, comfort, etc. Hands down great place! Everyone should go there for their medical needs!

Yesterday I walked in to SHERMAN OAKS MEDICAL SUPPLY to pick up few items for my uncle that was recommended by his Doctor and seeing all the smiling faces and caring stuff I decided tell all my friends and about them. This is just the beginning, I will do my best to tell as many friends I as can for them to use SHERMAN OAKS MEDICAL SUPPLY!!! I want to thank the management and stuff of SHERMAN OAKS MEDICAL SUPPLY for their professionalism and caring attitude toward their customers such as myself!

I was referred to Sherman Oaks Medical Supply by a friend. Went in there yesterday to purchase a cane for my mother. Manny helped her choose the right cane for her height. We didn't pay for the cane because her insurance covered the cost. Very happy with the service.
