Cryotherapy
Cryotherapy: This is our most common treatment, using liquid nitrogen to remove benign or pre-cancerous skin lesions by freezing. Not all skin lesions should be treated with cryotherapy; it truly is an art, of which we have the most experience in the area.
Emergency Care
If you have any symptoms of viral infection such as fever, cough, new nasal congestion or new shortness of breath, or exposure to people with these symptoms you should stay home, or seek emergency care if needed. Any “cold” symptoms can be symptoms of COVID-19 or other infectious viruses that can be fatal to many of our elderly or vulnerable patients. Please be kind and reschedule your visit if you have a cold.

Botox
BOTOX® Cosmetic is the easiest way to remove common frown-lines, crow's feet, and forehead lines. Other areas can be treated as well. Benefits of Botox are that it is very safe, nearly painless and has no downtime. Although the effect is temporary (lasting 3 to 4 months on average), this can also be a benefit, by allowing you to try out a new look without making a permanent commitment. Both Amy and Dr. Robbins provide Botox injections.
Plastic Surgery
Kybella is a novel product for permanently erasing double chin. It should be thought of as plastic surgery without the scalpel, with an expected post-procedure period of swelling and some bruising. Two sessions are planned in order to receive the best outcome. However, the results are worth it!

Amber Robbins, M.D. grew up outside of Dayton, Wyoming, graduated from Tongue River High School, and then the University of Wyoming with a Bachelor of Sciences in Zoology and Physiology. She received a Medical Doctorate with Honors from the University of Washington in Seattle and then completed a transitional year internship at the Virginia Mason Medical Center also in Seattle. She received her specialty training in Dermatology at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee from 2005-2008. Her training included dermatologic surgery, dermatopathology, general medical dermatology, pediatric dermatology and cosmetic dermatology. Her special interests include pediatric dermatology and the treatment of skin cancer. As a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, she carries full specialty board-certification in Dermatology. She has practiced in Sheridan since 2008 and enjoys spending time with her family which includes her husband, Andy, and her two children.

The American Academy of Dermatology provides excellent, up-to-date information for the public. They have specific areas devoted to acne, eczema and skin cancer, as well as numerous other conditions.
Lesions
Biopsies: Due to our extensive experience we are often able to diagnose rashes and skin lesions by exam alone, with no need for additional testing. If needed, biopsies can be used to confirm our diagnosis. Biopsies involve numbing the area in question, taking a sample of skin, and sending it for testing. Results are back in 2-5 business days. We perform biopsies every day, and most patients comment on how their experience was better than they expected.
Chemical Peels
An easy way to improve skin texture without hardly any downtime. We use salicylic and glycolic acid peels regularly, tailored to the patient's skin type. Medium depth combination peels are also available, they correct more damage but have at least a few days of downtime.

Whether you are a new or returning patient, the staff of Robbins Dermatology looks forward to providing you with top quality skin care. If you are a new patient, you will need to fill out a check-in sheet and a patient history form, available online or at the clinic the day of your visit.

Allergies
Allergy Testing: We perform T.R.U.E. testing for contact allergies in cases of difficult allergic eczema or contact dermatitis. In almost all cases we consult with the patient first to identify possible allergens before proceeding to testing.
