Maintainer Corp Of Iowa, Incorporated is one of the largest manufacturers of customized mechanics service truck bodies and lube truck bodies, and extendable boom cranes. The markets it serves cover a broad spectrum of customers from heavy equipment distributors, contractors and mines to railroads, loggers and municipalities. Its very first body design was called a Basic Maintainer Body and was a flatbed with a behind cab mounted fixed boom crane. As sales increased, and the company learned more about its customer's needs, the first one-ton pressurized storage system maintainer service body with 6,000-pound capacity full hydraulic telescoping boom crane was introduced in the fall of 1981. The company was founded in 1976.
