Trinity Nursing & Rehab Center

Very friendly staff! Very nice place to call home! Beautiful grounds! I highly recommend Trinity Nursing & Rehab. They go out of their way to make you feel like family.

My grandmother was recently transferred to this nursing home from KU medical Center. She had two strokes, two heart attacks, and a brain bleed that left her unable to move or speak. All of her family leaves in Texas and we were told since she was a resident of KS we would have to pay a private provider to have her transported to Texas. We left my grandfather with her so that we thought she would be taken care of until we could get the funds together. It took us two weeks and my mother headed up to the nursing home to follow the company back with her. When she arrived my grandmother was in the worst condition - it is unimaginable and down right criminal. They were only bathing her twice a week, and my grandpa said she had only received two sponge baths the whole time she was there. She was not being rotated, and they were not using a powder prescribed by the doctors to prevent bed sores so she developed horrible sores. My grandpa was crying because he said they would leave her in her dirty diapers for hours and if he asked them to do anything they would yell at him. She had crap under her nails, in her hair, she smelled so bad. My mother was going to brush her teeth and discovered her mouth was full of sputum and she was choking on it. We thankfully are getting my grandma out of this horrible place, i would like to see everyone who works here prosecuted, and if i could give them negative stars i would. Please Do Not let your family members stay here - it is a horrible place, with horrible standards and it breaks my heart that there are people who will still be here when we leave.

This is the worst facility I have ever encountered. I took my parent from this DUMP due to the lack of passion, professionalism, and care for any of the residents. The nurses are the laziest individuals I have ever seen in my life. I worked in the medical field for yars and this place is the absolute worse.



The nurses are too lazy to close te blinds in a resident's room. They actually said they would find the CNA to do it and they were right in the room. I was on the phone with my parent when they said it.

The Med Aid almost gave my parent the wrong dosage of pain meds. Thank God I was there to prevent that accident from happening. CNA's were forever leaving feces on my parent as well as many other residents.(whch caues UTI's) Did not keep up good pericare at all. Other residents encountered the same treatment. I witnessed it myself.



The director of Nursing is a joke. She is a bold face liar, and covers up for her lazy nurses who sit around playing games on their cellphones and gossiping instead of doing what the government agencies pay them to do.



Always running out of supplies. Understaffed frequently. Always in trouble with the State. .Residents only get bathed twice a week and you have to beg to get that done. Can't get their faces washed, har combed and teeth brushed daily. I would not suggest this DUMP to anyone.They treat their resident stray cat better than their paying residents. So glad my parent is away from that hell pit.
