        Sold some old jewelry-specific...

        Sold some old jewelry-specifically asked them what they were paying per gram, after a lot of paper work, I was made an offer. I asked again (trying to figure out what they were paying-) how many grams I had- I was given an answer in penny weight. Silly me, thought they were interchangable because I asked how many GRAMS I had. FYI 1 dwt (diamond penny weight) equals 1.555 grams. They take a hefty cut. I would have realized it they had answered my first question and I would have left. And they acted like they were too busy to deal with me. Good grief.
