Dean Dairy, originally owned and operated as Brookfield Dairy, is located in Sharpsville, Pa. The facility in Pennsylvania has one of the largest product capacities among the 40 Dean corporate locations in the United States. The company staffs more than 200 employees processing over 20 million-pounds of milk ever month. It purchases raw milk from more than 600 independent producers. Dean Food s Milk Chug is processed and packaged in the dairy s plant. Its manufacturing facilities utilize the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point food safety system. Dean Dairy products are Food and Drug Administration approved. Its product line also includes arctic splash fruit drinks available in a variety of flavors, including pink lemonade, blue raspberry, orange, grape and fruit punch.
