        The Burpee Group was hired by me to build a pool in Jan 2019. The completion date was May 2019. The pool is still not completed as of 9/24/19 as we're in numerous violations of electrical codes. On top of that, we have endless issues related to the installation of the travertine deck, the stone waterfall, and the bar he built us. It's been a nightmare working with Bob - while he's a very nice guy- he is disorganized and doesn't remotely have a skilled crew. Because it's well known he doesn't pay his sub contractors and they sue him (do a quick search) he doesn't use any licensed contractors and has his "main guy" Ruben doing the electrical, plumbing, and gas lines. This lead to a gas leak, electrical issues, and endless problems. Bob's guys didn't show up for weeks at a time with endless excuses as to why. Bob only showed up when he needed to get a check- so he had unskilled unlicensed workers building my entire pool with zero supervision. Bob didn't get the proper permits or inspections including the most important inspection- the grounded bonding wire around the pool. So now we're in numerous code violations and can't use the pool. Bob doesn't respond to the township or myself, and has left me with a not completed pool that is in numerous violations and is a "electrocution" risk and can't be used. Do yourself a favor, FIND A DIFFERENT POOL COMPANY!

        The Burpee Group put in a pool with attached spa. The installed a paver patio around the pool then completed all the landscaping in the backyard beds. The job ran totally on schedule and flawlessly. Bob was wonderful to deal with. He was at the job site almost every day and completely oversaw the project through all the phases. His crew was professional and very friendly. The job site was always neatly buttoned up whenever they left for the day. They did an amazing job. Extremely skilled workers. What I really liked was that Bob didn’t sell me a pool and disappear. He’s the owner of the company and is your point of contact through the entire project. I highly recommend The Burpee Group and would definitely use them again.
