horrible experience. Went there May 1, intended to buy trimmer and blower. The owner talked to us like idiots. My 10 yr old saved enough money to buy a leaf blower, he bought his own lawn mower and trimmer already from Lowes. Owner insulted him, asked him if he ask for deals from Bi-Lo. All he asked for was to throw in the oil free. He had his money in hand. They must have so many blowers being sold that they can treat a kid so bad. Will go to landscape supply in Easley tomorrow to by blower.

Be Prepared to Be Treated Like an Idiot

A few years I consulted this business and was treated with respect and courtesy by a very helpful fellow name Jerry. I think he was an owner of the business. The next time I dealt with this business, Jerry was no longer around and the current crop of owners/employees were about the most surly group I've ever dealt with. I really don't see how anyone could do business with these nasties.

Don't ever go. Terrible customer service with an attitude, great combination. Treated me like I was an idiot when describing the problem with a blower - twice. Took it elsewhere and they found the issue and fixed it. They will never see me again.

This shop is LAME!

I am a practicing arborist (ISA certified) and a frequent user of high end chainsaws. I had never used Vickery’s and though I would give them a shot. I took three saws in to have a diagnosis. The charge for this is $25 a saw. I suspected that there would be a charge but it wasn't discussed. When I returned to get my three torched saws the owner told me it would be $75. I replied "Okay, but just so you know the man who checked in my saws didn't mention the price of a diagnosis" simply trying to make him aware of the oversight. The owner seizes up with attitude and says flatly "Yes he did." I reply "Well actually he didn't." The owner: "We tell everyone that there is a fee and he told you" I ease his clear anger "I am going to pay, just trying to let you know." So basically this guy is calling me a liar instead of letting his dull clerk know that he should discuss prices when they check saws into the shop. Beyond being a jerk, the owner of this shop has over priced arborist supplies and the same prices as everyone else on Stihl products. My advice is to go out to Oakway Tractor or Buddy's Chain Saw Services in Pickens where the people treat you like they care about having customers. The 1st post is a bit hard to read but I am sure the guy at Vickery’s did screw over sburton3.

You would not believe after i ...

You would not believe after i called them with my part #s which were exactly what i needed, Talked with lady twice on the phone. Had to pay for parts in advance, so i had a friend drop money by there, The gentleman tells my friend she has this wrong and changes what i had ordered. So when the wrong part comes back . Do you think he would take it back, after all he changed it. No he would not and then tried to blame it on my buddy that droped the money off. When the part i ordered to start with was ordered and finally came in. I went to get it and the whole crew there must be under alot of stress because they were very unfriendly, and i felt as if i was a burden to them haveing to lift there heads and acknowledge i was even there, I might have only been a 100.00 purchase, but word of mouth goes a long way. So here s to the Sunshine gang at Vickerys, Dont worry bout me or any one i know, if i can help it. Last hundred you will get of mine. And a smile goes a long way. Especially if you are dealing with people, The same people who are paying your bills. 1 star for having my parts . And the impression i left with.
