It's one of the best place to stay.. the staff was very friendly and helpful. Also the room was cleaned up to perfection. Everything was very well organized and the prices were reasonable. I would definitely visit this motel, the next time I visit Sedalia.
Loved the staff -- helpful and gracious. Very clean room with all the amenities (fridge, microwave, coffee pot, hair dryer, iron and ironing board). Similar to my experience of other well-run motels in the Econo Lodge chain, so the Truman Inn met my expectations for this price-tier. Turned out to be a good location with lots of eateries nearby. Surprisingly quiet -- no highway noise on this end of town even though my room was on the parking lot and highway side of the building. Wish I brought my swimsuit for the indoor pool. Great value overall.
Extremely reasonable pricing and a good location in town. The rooms were spacious and clean. The staff is wonderful, very friendly and works very hard to make your stay worth while. A good, economical spot!
The staff is very friendly and works very hard. The location is perfect for the sheep sale. The room was recently updated and very comfortable. It was a great value for the price. We stay here every year for the sheep sale and have not been disappointed.
Nice place clean polite people definitely stay again. Was a little apprehensive after reading some reviews but it seems like some people are completely unreasonable for the price this was an excellent place to stay definitely would recommend this to anyone
Have stayed here several times . The staff is always friendly and always willing to accommodate your needs. I would recommend this place to anyone. Great location and great prices on rooms. Will be staying here again .

I’ve always been very satisfied staying at this Motel. Always feel welcomed
EXCELLENT! We experienced another visit where we loved: The friendliness of everyone we met. The constant welcoming and greeting. The desire that all our needs were met. And, the knowledge that they are a growing and improving Choice Hotel brand property. Also, the biscuits and gravy were delicious!
Check-in and check-out was excellent. Very satisfied with customer service during stay. Food was good. Room was clean.
DO NOT STAY IN TRUMAN HOTEL!!! They have an infestation of bed bugs!! The hotel is very dirty and they have horrible reviews and a lot of reviews complaining about bed bugs and roaches. Also we had dirty sheets upon arrival and they replaced them with old stained sheets and wouldn't give me any clean pillowcases. Management was extremly rude, and said that they didn't have a bug problem. She also refused to look at the video and pictures I took of the live bugs. We were rushed out of the room and told to immediately check out so they could Rent the room because they had someone coming in!!! It was a nightmare and don't want anyone to experience what we did at 5am this morning. This was NOT a few bed bugs. There were a few dozen nest and at least 200 bed bugs!
