Reflections Dental Centre

My opinion: REFLECTIONS IS ABOUT BIG PROFITS BEFORE PATIENTS! Had gum recession surgery on 6 teeth. Took the periodontist there, Dr. Sofia Petrov, ONLY AN HOUR TO DO, but COST ME OVER $4,000.00 of my own money after insurance paid! ONE HOUR AND FAILED! She wanted $400 FOR EACH TOOTH TO REDO, with NO guarantee. She said nothing at all about guarantee the 1st time. So I consulted another periodontist and recorded what he said, had it transcribed and showed Dr Petrov. But she wouldn't even look at it. That periodontist said to NEVER do more than 1 or 2 teeth at a time for success, because it can fail. Dr. PETROV DID 6! He said to NEVER use cadaver tissue on crowns. SHE DID! He said that tissue from the patient is more successful because it doesn't cut off blood flow. WHY DIDN'T SHE PRACTICE THIS? My insurance also told me that Reflections overcharged me for the 1st tooth at $1,108.00. LIMIT IS $700 FOR ALL TEETH. REFLECTIONS WILL NOT REFUND ME! So I went to get another opinion from a different Dental Clinic and dentist. He just fixed my crown & said that's all that was needed. Also, told him about my gum recession surgery. He commented, "Surely, they should honor their commitment and business and redo it without any charge, within a year's time period. BUT REFLECTIONS DOES NOT DO THIS! THEY JUST WANT MORE MONEY. This dentist told me he would recommend me to another periodontist, who will either redo it without cost within a years time period or give you back half your money, in case you want to go to a different periodontist. This is, of course, if the surgery does not succeed. REFLECTIONS DOES NOT DO THIS! And, of course, I don't have the money to do it now, after giving them the money I saved for it. Reflections made $4,524 in an HOURS' TIME OFF ME. I HAVE AN EMPTY SAVINGS ACCOUNT.

I first chose Reflections because it is close to home. But I keep coming back because I find the staff professional, courteous and friendly. They also do a good job of reminding me about my appointments.

Dr. Cervantes and her staff are great! They have looked after our family's smiles for years. I appreciate their care and professionalism and I really like the convenient Westwood Village location.
