        My experience wasn't quite as good as the previous reviewer. Yes the doctor was very thorough but she didn't do my perscription correctly. I am not able to see up close with my glasses on, I have to remove them and strain my eyes because with them on everything is blurry up close. Also the frames I selected are too wide in the arms and I am unable to see in my peripheral vision so I have to take them off to drive. The doctor refused to correct the script and the frames. The only option I was given was to order a new pair and pay full price since my insurance was maxed out and she would give me 20% off. I do like the receptionist, she has been there for many many years when a different doctor owned the practice, I had gone to him before and that was why I went back. I will never go there again or reccomend them to anyone.

        Purchased new lenses and frames. After purchase I realized I could not use the frames because the arms were too thick and I could not see to drive, (change lanes). I would have to lift the frames up or turn completely around to see the lane next to me. Also the perscription was not right, either by the doctors exam or by the lens maker, I don't know which. But I can not see anything up close and have to remove the glasses to read because it is less blurry with them off. I asked this office to try to make it right. The only thing they offered was for me to buy a new pair, but would not even offer a discount or let me return the ones I purchased for even partial credit. My insurance will not cover for another two years, so I'm wearing my old glasses with my old perscription until then.

        Mamie the optometrist is absolutely awesome. She is very conscientious and found something that turned out to be a detached retina. She basically saved my vision. The assistant/receptionist is extremely up to date on all insurance and is a help as long as she is not overwhelmed, which could simply be two people in the office at once. Despite her strangeness she has been a tremendous help as well. I would recommend this clinic to anyone. The selection is pretty good as well.
