Kitchen Remodeling
Crandall Custom Homes is a General Contractor specializing in custom building and remodeling. We build and remodels, single-family homes. All of our projects range in size from kitchen & bath remodels up to large estate homes. Most of our projects are in the greater Phoenix, Arizona area.
Bathroom Remodeling
Drywalls
After the trades are done with electrical, mechanical, and plumbing and the house is lathed, we come back and check each stud in the house to make sure they are level and flat. Studs are shimmed, cut, planned and some are replaced if needed. This process is called straightening studs and is completed prior to installing drywall to ensure that your project has the straightest walls possible to ensure that the drywall turns out well.
Framing
After plans are approved by the city, we do a framing take-off from the plans using the construction details and structural calculations to determine the material that is needed to build the project. That list is then given to multiple lumber yards and truss companies to ensure that we get the best price for your project.
Tile Installation
The owner and president of Crandall Custom Homes, LLC - Dustin Crandall, got his start in construction at the early age of 9 years old going to jobsites and helping his Dad wire residential and commercial projects in and around Monmouth, Illinois. In high school, Dustin had a yard mowing business taking care of 12 yards per week and in college he started his own tile installation business. After graduating from Western Illinois University, Dustin went to work with Caterpillar, Inc. as an Engineer, Machinist, and Marketing Rep. After 12 years with the company, he and his wife left the corporate world and started Crandall Custom Homes, LLC in Scottsdale, AZ.

After reviewing the plans from our Architect, Dustin offered some very creative ideas that we quickly incorporated into the project. His industry knowledge and creativity are valuable assets he brings to the table. Dustin did all the footwork for us when we collaborated on the finishes. He offered money saving advice on fixtures we could buy directly both locally and over the internet. Also key throughout the project was his communication on every step of the process. We knew exactly what to expect and when. We are very pleased with the job Dustin did and continue to recommend him to friends who are considering any type of remodel or new construction.”
