99 year old woman paid $5100 for a set of hearing aids. Just before warranty it has to be refurbished. Once refurbished the new ones didn't last 6 months. Of course, the refurbished ones only guaranteed for 3 months. To repair they want $400 for each hearing aid. This is ridiculous. The technician told me I should have bought insurance. Insurance was never offered and when I asked about it, the technician said I should have requested it. What a terrible way to run a business. This organization is a complete rip-off; they take advantage of the elderly. I would never recommend this organization. It is much better to purchase inexpensive hearing aids from discount centers. The expensive hearing aids do not last and it is a money making scheme by the so called hearing aid 'professionals'
