        Mortellaro's Nursery is a nursery that provides a variety of shrubs, trees, ground covers and plants for seasonal, tropical and perennial color. It also offers ornamental grass, vines, conifers and native plants for landscape use. The nursery provides plants of various species, including raphiolepis indica, ilex cornuta, lonicera japonica and magnolia grandiflora. Mortellaro's also offers cuphea hyssopifolia, nandina domestica, quercus macrocarpa and nerium oleander species of plants. The nursery maintains a fleet of trucks for delivery throughout Texas. Established in 1956, Mortellaro's is located in Schertz, Texas.

        Overall

        I have been dealing with Mortellaro's for around 30 yrs. I am a professional landscape designer.



        Today I encountered one of the sons of the original owners, James Hardin Junior. Well, It is about as close as I've come to decking someone in the last 20 yrs.



        This last month I spent over $5,000.00 with them. Guess how much I will be spending with them from now on? He could write a book on "The Fastest way to lose business and revenue."



        Shame, it was one of the best nurseries in our area too. I've known some of the employees there forever. I feel bad for them. Amazing how one person can destroy an established business. It's almost like that is what he is trying to do.



        As much as it saddens me to say this after so long...my advice is to stay far away from these guys now. There are plenty of other nurseries working hard to get our business. Give it to them instead.
