        In 2009 the Van Dyck reopened under new owners, the McDonald Family, giving this historic venue new life. In 2011, the McDonald's again revitalized the Van Dyck by getting the formerly used brewery on premise functioning once more, under the name, the Mad Jack Brewing Company. Fresh brews are made weekly, and can be seen through the open glass brewhouse behind the restaurant. Sampler, growlers and kegs are available for purchase.
