Well, I should say avoid this place when you are renting an apartment. I totally agreed with another reviewer down here that this place has the worst management team I have ever met with.

First of all, when I moved into this place, they arranged me with a smoking roommate, which is totally contradicted with my roommate match agreement. When I debated with the staff here, they asked me either I stayed with the smoking guy, or I spent more to move to another apartment.

Then the apartment turned out to be a mess when I moved in. There are no sign of cleaning up in the kitchen and in one of our bedrooms. There is even juice poured in the fridge, which took me half a day to clean it up. What's even drove me mad is the broke sofa cushion. Can you believe that three of the four cushions is broken? But fortunately the landlord promised to replace the cushions for us as soon as possible, however, after several times request, they finally replaced them after 7 months.

Don't believe in their promise of free printing because almost 4 out of 7 days the printing is not working, either because of lacking ink, lacking paper or it's broke.

And they are finding all ways to charge you some money. They charge $50 for late fee, which is the highest among all landlords in Champaign area. And even they claimed to free you of any electricity, sewage, cable charge, which is actually what attract me to live here. There is still another $30 dollars on your monthly renting bill to pay for those things, which I don't know why.

After spending 4 years living in Champaign area, this could be the worst management team I have ever dealt with. Living here made me feeling so uncomfortable so I will definitely move out once I end my contract. I believe a lot of residents here have the same feeling with me. That may also explain why they change the name from "indigo place" to "Place at 117" - to get rid of all the low ratings they got from previous residents.

Fun Place

I lived at Indigo Place last year and enjoyed every minute. The staff was always courteous to me and the maintenance was prompt. I went to almost all of the events that they did in the clubhouse or at the pool unless I was working. I wouldn't have moved out except I got a job out of town when I graduated. My new place in Chicago is already giving me trouble. I miss Indigo :(

Best Customer Service Ever

I have lived Indigo for 3yrs now and can say without hesitation that this is a community that ACTUALLY cares about its residents. This past winter my car (rear wheel drive) wouldn't budge one morning. By 7:20am I had tried everything thing I could think of from jabbing the ice with my shovel to dumping most of the 4lb sand bag from my trunk onto the ground. Thats when one of the office employees living above me, along with my neighbor from downstairs came to my rescue! It was soooo cold outside and neither of them were dressed to be outdoors for any length of time but this didn't stop them. They continued to push and rock my car until I was able to gain enough traction to reverse the car.

Now thats amazing service!

The Best In Town

I truly believe that Indigo Place is the best in town. The apartment complex is more than a place to dwell, it is a safe community that you get a lot for your money. Kudos to the staff and maintenance team.

Indigo is great place to live!

I have lived here for 2 years and the staff is fantastic. They matched me with two great roommates. I enjoy all of the events and everyone seems to be great. I would love to stay here but I am graduating. I would recommend Indigo to anyone.

Consumer Beware!

They promise you stardust and deliver dryer lint. Prior to signing the lease they promise low prices for luxury living. Nothing could be further from the truth. The apartments are cheaply built and the furniture is very, very low end. I also ended up paying over $75 per month more than the quoted rent due to additional utilities fees. The customer service is terrible. Management will not return phone calls. Run, do not walk, run! Agree, it really is the worst place to live.
