We all have unique needs and goals and I am pleased to be part of a process which can bring positive change and healing. I've been privileged to know and work with people from all walks of life, from diverse backgrounds and experiences. My background: community mental health, substance abuse, w/ trauma survivors, schools, and overseas with US military families. I'm comfortable with clients of all ages, and provide short-term, solution focused counselling, more long term intensive therapy, play therapy, couples and family counseling. Specializations: Anxiety, OCD, mood disorders, postpartum, ADHD, PTSD, parenting, divorce, grief. Interests: adolescents, single parenting, step-families, first responders. I enjoy people of different cultures and military families. I pay close attention to your collective life experiences and use a treatment approach to best fit your individual needs. I've been told my varied life experiences help me to understand and relate well with my clients. Therapy can assist with unexpected life changes, calming an overactive brain, improving relationships, motivation, and overall coping. The results can bring relief.
