Memorial Health University Physicians Family Care - East 66th Street

Went there for 28 years and had little to no problems with doctors or staff. About 5 or 6 years ago they assigned me a doctor that got so upset when I asked her where she had went to medical school (I believe she thought I was questioning her qualifications but this was a question that I had asked every doctor when I initially saw them) that she lied to the director stating that I had cursed the office administrator. Without asking for my side of the story the director, who was new to me, summarily dismissed me. The office administrator told me that "doctors never lie" which I found to be not only naive but somewhat funny (the office administrator never filed a complaint and could not recall me ever cursing any one but nevertheless sided with the doctor and the director) . Found another doctor after Dr. Clemons lied to the director. I can not recommend this family practice clinic and would urge people to seek out a doctor elsewhere.

Dr. Devani is great. Very personable and respectful. I will definitely try to stick with him from now on. I've seen 4 doctors there, and 3 of them I liked. The other was all right--she was a little standoffish.

Sometimes there's a bit of a wait for your appointment, but overall I've had good experiences here. The front desk staff and nurses are for the most part friendly, and there are some that are especially nice and sympathetic.
