I went to see this vet on a recommendation from a friend, but different people have different experiences. I felt the doctor knew what he was doing, but both he and his tech were very condescending. I pointed out that both my friend and I had felt a protrusion from the end of his rib cage. They said it was normal (in a tone that implied I was an idiot), but they didn't explain why it was normal. The other vet I see explained that what I was asking about was a normal extension of his rib cage. That dogs have an "extra rib" so to speak.

Second, I asked if he was too thin. He said, "No, and you better not come back here with more weight on him" or words to that affect. I am overweight myself, so maybe I was over sensitive, but it was a strange comment anyway. Why would he come back heavier?

The third thing was the price. Much higher than I could have even imagined. Twice what I had been charged in one place, and $30 more than the other
