d'andreas makes the best new york style thin crust pizza in saratoga. its prime location nestled among the bars of caroline street along with its late night hours make it easy access to great food no matter when you're feeling hungry. the crust has an almost sweet taste to it, something unique and tasty that you'll find nowhere else. the prices are reasonable, and the value of a single slice is outstanding. the slices are always generously portioned and ready right when you want them. during the day, they offer a lunch special of two slices and a drink all for under $4. their finest creation by far is their buffalo chicken pizza. delicious!

I recently ordered one of the specialties of the house, a so-called "Pale Greek" Pizza advertised on the menu as "Gourmet Pizza", with Black Olives, Feta Cheese, Sliced Tomatoes, Green Peppers, Onions and a Garlic & Oil Glaze.



It seems appetizing until you taste it.



Soggy black olives right out of the can. Those poor olives probably have never seen the sun of Greece, or the sun itself for all I know. It could have been slices of rubber hose for all I know and I would not have tasted the difference.



Sliced tomatoes, Green Peppers, and Onions were few and far between.



Feta cheese was drowned in an ocean of processed fake Mozzarella.



The only thing you get with profusion is garlic oil, to the point that the crust is soggy with it.



I don't know that the adjective "Greek" should be copyrighted, but I sure hope that the Greeks would disown any such appellation.



The only adjective I would second is "Pale". This is the color you'll turn when trying to digest this thing.

Next time I want to order a pizza, I'll dive in the dumpster. A sure way to get your money's worth compared to this experience.
