Stay away from these crooks and lairs. A lot of cracks in the new slab,haven't installed expansion control joints, (notice for GC was on the plan) that caused about forty cracks in the front wall (270' long) and a some in the side walls.
It is a new building. When asked about it, John said that expansion control joins behind the columns and showed about one inch wide with his fingers. When checked, there were no control joints. There were other serious deficiencies like over twenty loose bolts connecting columns with girts and C-channels, service doors were installed incorrectly, swinging inside such when was raining water was coming 10' - 15' inside, also water is coming in between slab and masonry walls and etc.
In the middle of construction of build out (offices), refused to build for bid- proposed price, told me if I won't pay new price, about 20% higher, then I have to pay for what is already done and look for another GC. At that time I already had Tenants expecting to move in, so I had to pay new price.
It was a nightmare to deal with with Solomons. I do not recommend to hire them for any work.
