Funky Monkey

We arranged to have our daughter's birthday party at the Funky Monkey, as we had heard good things about the place, but we had never been inside their doors before, so I was a little hesitant. Now that the party is over, I have to say that I am completely impressed with the place. They assigned an employee (Ashley) to "host" our party, and she did a knock-out job, and she really worked hard for us to make everything go smooth. The kids had a blast, and the parents were happy too. When we finally got the bill, I realized that for what we got, it was very reasonable.



I honestly have to say, that the pizza if very, very good. Compared to that nasty stuff they have at Chucky Cheese's, this pizza was great. I took my daughter back today, and had another pizza, and I was very happy... it's very much like Round Table Pizza.



One final comparison to Chucky's, and that is the employees. At C.C, the teenage employees act like the walking dead, and you can tell they are miserable beyond belief, but at F.M. the employees are very courteous, pleasant, and they actually seem to enjoy working there, which really adds to the experience.



Even if you are not having a birthday party, this is a great place to take the kids and let them blow off energy and have lots of fun, and the parents can just kick back and relax. My daughter used to ask for me to take her McDonalds just so she could use the play area, but F.M. is bigger, better and definitely much cleaner, so I will definitely change locations from now on.
