Allison Howard, DOM is a licensed acupuncturist, herbalist and doctor of Asian medicine practicing in Santa Fe, NM with over 20 years of clinical experience. She graduated with a Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine from Emperor’s College in Los Ange- les, spent time in Taiwan and China for extended studies and has completed an or- thopedic specialty and been board certified by the National Board of Acupuncture Orthopedics. While working primarily with acupuncture, herbs, nutrition, func- tional medicine and Asian medical theory, she also draws on her background as a certified massage therapist and integrates tui na (Chinese medical massage), cup- ping and craniosacral therapy into her practice. She has been licensed by the New Mexico, Arizona and California State Acupuncture Boards and holds a diplomate in acupuncture and herbology from the National Certification Commission of Acu- puncture and Oriental Medicine.
