The Heritage at Lake Forest

The Heritage at Leke Forest is a nice place, however they need to get rid of some of their staff members. One night we went to visit my father-in-law and as we were walking back to our car we saw one of the young maintenance men making out with another staff member in a vehicle! I mean, come on please do that on your own time. It made me, my family, especially my husband very uncomfortable after we witnessed that. Otherwise, i must say, the Heritage is a well kept facility.

Yes, for those with memory loss, this is truly a "Safe Haven". All the people associated with the facility are trained to cope. They have a world of patience, concern, understanding and love. My husband had deteriorated in a matter of a month at another facility and The Heritage had their hands full trying to bring him back to a functioning state. He is doing so much better and I am not afraid to answer the phone, fearing the worse. If they do have to call for any reason, the first thing they say is "everything is fine".. I cannot say enough good about The Heritage and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone who is faced with placing a loved one. I thank God every day for somehow leading us there.

What a wonderful place. This by far was the Best Assistant Living Home I have ever been too. When the time comes for a family member to not be left alone, it is a hard decision to make, but having the Heritage made it easy. My Aunt who has always been an independent woman, one day came to a point in her life that she needed assistance. The Heritage at Lake Forest is definetly a place I feel very secure in my Aunt living. Not only is it a beautiful place but the staff is just amazing, kind people. I was very impressed by visiting her a couple of months ago. I dont live in the area and it put my mind at ease that she was being taking care of 100%. Everyone I came in contact with was just the most pleasant. Thank you everyone who is on staff for being so gracious. Mainly for taking such good care for my Aunt Voncille Steele.
