Budget Inn

We stayed here recently and it was awesome. The staff were over the top friendly and helpful. They printed our plane tickets and faxed several things for my job for me with a smile. The room was clean and did not smell, as it does in some rooms with carpet in FL. The view of the lake was beautiful and relaxing. The pool was a little shabby but clean and there were several local restaurants. The front desk even mapquest directions to Joe's Crab Shack which we found with ease. The price was reasonable. We stayed on a bottom floor near the office and found it quite. It is also very easy to get to the Sanford/Orlando airport with just one right hand turn and your there. We Will Return.

Good luck trying to get a decent night sleep here. The rooms are very noisy. Expect to hear people walking by outside your room all through the night, hearing through the walls into the next room, and hearing people walk up and down the stairs. Accommodations may be up to par if you are 19 and on Spring Break from College otherwise take your Clorox clean-ups! Good luck trying to get a hold of a human at the front desk after 40 rings each and numerous calls I was forced to call the 800 number to complain. Don't even think about asking for a refund or canceling your future nights reservation. Absolutely no! is what they will tell you at the front desk and on the "800" customer service line. Conveniently, I was told had I called earlier in the day they "MAY" have accepted the cancellation. My theory..... front desk doesn't answer the phone so they don't have to listen to complaints or give reasons why they wont refund your money.
