Cottage Rose The

We were there on May 21, 2015 for a one night stay at the Cottage Rose. We absolutely loved it! Prior to booking the bed and breakfast, the two owners (Virgil and Suzee) were great at communicating prices (very low) and accommodations, as well as on point with reminders. They went out of their way to make our stay pleasant, they even changed their own plans as well!



As for the house itself, it is something out of a story book! Suzee is an exceptional designer, and the entire house feels lively and comfortable. You truly feel at home. You get the entire upstairs which includes a massive bedroom, a TV room, and a private bathroom. No one bothers you or even checks up on you. You are given the house key, so you are free to come and go as you please.



With being only 1 mile from the lake (great for sunsets!), and just minutes from the great local shops and restaurants in Sandusky, OH, the Cottage Rose is the place to stay! (Especially at only $85 a night!).
