Krausewerk Collectibles

I would give a rating of negative 5 stars if it was possible. I transferred a gun to another individual at Krausewerk and noticed that they deal with appraising collectable military antiques. So I let the owner know what I had and then came back a week later to have it appraised. Since I am a novice when it comes to military collectables I came in the store trusting that the owner was going to give me a correct appraisal. Instead, the owner gave me a fraudulent estimate and I sold the antique to him based upon him giving a “truthful estimate”. Well after a few auction sites and dealer got back to me saying that the antique was actually worth 3-5 time what Mr. Krause falsely estimated it to be; I confronted Mr. Krause and he changed his story saying that the antique was actually not what he originally thought it was and that I was lucky that he took it off my hand. When I asked to return the money for the antique Mr. Krause said no and said I could talk to his lawyer. I was going to have my lawyer contact him, but don’t have the money to do so (which Mr. Krause was counting on). I recommend that any novice get other opinions prior to going to Krausewerk, or you may be ripped off like I was. I would not send my worst enemy to these heartless crooks; may the buyer/seller beware.

I learned about Krausewerk Collectibles recently, and after visiting I can say I love this place. The folks that work there are incredibly friendly and helpful, and it is an amazing experience just to walk in and see all of the historical items that cover the walls. I definitely recommend stopping in to experience it yourself.
