Nice variety of tasty sandwiches and good service. The roasted eggplant had a good balance of flavor and was very fresh.

Simple or fancy sandwiches. My fave is the spicy fish sandwich.

Assorted salads including the always reliable greek salad (mmm peperocinis).

An awesome soup/salad combo for under $6 (a steal in the FiDi)

Working Girl is the perfect quick lunch spot in SF. I needed to eat in about 15 mins and had a great prosciutto sandwich. The sandwiches are fairly priced given how big they are and they have a large selection. I didn't try the salads, but they looked good. Seating there is a bit tight and if you time it incorrectly you could be waiting in a bit of a line, but it is worth it.

I eat lunch at this place about 3 or 4 times per week. The food is very good - very fresh. The staff cares! The guy who takes your order and money is very friendly yet efficient. The menu is varied enough so that an everyday meal is not a chore. As I've gotten to be a regular customer I get the occasional free yogurt or cookie - which is a nice touch. If you are looking for good salads and sandwiches give this place a try. Not fancy but it works.
